Wanha Kasino was completed in 1896 as the centre of entertainment and social life for spa guests on the Happy Islands. Aino Ackté, the prima donna of the opera world, knew her worth and appreciated quality. You are now in her favourite haunt. Ackté was a familiar sight at Kasino’s parties over the

Shades of Tango, Finnish Melodies, and Harvest Flavors. Join us at Restaurant Wanha Kasino during the Saimaa Harvest Festival Weekend on September 13, 2025.
The evening combines the best flavors of autumn with deeply emotional music.
Expect an atmospheric experience where a delicious dinner and a high-quality concert create an unforgettable night.

Three-Course Dinner served at 18:00 (6:00 PM) – 52 €/person

Starter:
Smoked Vendace Mousse and Blini (L, G)
Smoked vendace mousse, lemon onions, iceberg lettuce, blini, and dill oil

Main Course:
Pan-Fried Saimaa Pike-Perch (L, G)
Locally caught pike-perch, chanterelle sauce, root vegetable purée, seasonal vegetables, and browned butter roasted potatoes

Dessert:
Waffle
Waffle with berry jam made from local berries, salted caramel sauce, and vanilla ice cream
